Songs mixed with a little mist... and kissed with pixie dust..
Reb Capper is a quirky, powerful and prolific singer/songwriter from Suffolk creating sparkling piano pop that hits hard. Within her vast and diverse catalogue of songs, she creates beautiful melodies, intricate lyrics and passionate performances that are emotionally charged and truly top notch. Reb's personality, charm and humour are compelling and when mixed into her unique heartfelt tales, they never fail to move, delight and engage audiences.
Having received great reviews for her debut EP 'The Half Elf' as well as international radio play, Reb has also enjoyed live sets on BBC Radio and great support from Suffolk Introducing. With a myriad of gigs and festivals under her belt (supporting the likes of Oysterband and Chris Sherburn & Denny Bartley), Reb will be gigging both solo and with her backing band across the country in the coming months so watch this space!
Always playing catch up with her ever growing mountain of songs, Reb is often found trying to capture as many of these as possible. With one EP already completed and two albums by the end of the summer, she has also released her second EP (but official debut release The Half Elf), on Backwater Records. Although she remains in the studio mostly at present, Reb is looking forward to touring with the album on release.
Growing up on a mix of classical and classic pop, random influences include James Taylor, the sea, Ennio Morricone, Dolly Parton, Blade Runner, Kate Rusby, knitted creatures, Neil Finn, Danny Elfman, sillyness, Jackson Browne and fluffy socks....amongst so many others. She is a massive melting pot, not to be confused with just one flavour of ice cream and her heady, ethereal and eclectic blend of acoustic piano pop echoes this exquisitely.
